![]() System for monitoring the playing times used by golfers to play on a golf course.
专利摘要:
According to the frequentation of golf courses, it is essential, for everyone's playing comfort, to follow the playing times used by players or groups of players to play the different holes of the course. This in order to detect any delays compared to the theoretical schedule or compared to the passage times of the previous group of players. It is difficult to do this tracking work simultaneously for all groups of players on the golf course. The invention relates to a system which automatically and regularly determines the deviations in playing time of groups of players from a theoretical timetable. Thus the delays are transcribed on display terminals and it is thus easier for the marshals to intervene to fight against the slow game or even to punish late golfers according to the rules of golf. The invention is a means of streamlining traffic on golf courses. Also the knowledge of this type of information allows the players present or not on the course to know their estimated time of end of the course. 公开号:CH715410A2 申请号:CH01386/18 申请日:2018-11-12 公开日:2020-05-15 发明作者:Cottet Maxime 申请人:Cottet Maxime; IPC主号:
专利说明:
The invention consists of a system which makes it possible to control the playing time of golf players. [0002] A golf course is generally composed of 18 holes which are played successively, by the players, in a determined order. Each hole has a tee (start of the hole) and a green (end of the hole). On each of the holes of the course, the players execute one or more golf strokes in a ball from the start until the ball has entered a hole which is located on the green. A player can play alone or in a group with 1, 2 or 3 other players. Thus are distributed throughout the course of groups of 1 to 4 players who follow each other in line from the first to the last hole.Since the timing of the departures of the groups of players is generally carried out at regular intervals (for example every 10 minutes), the fluidity of advancement of a group of players depends directly on its speed of progression and that of the groups who preceded him on the golf course. Indeed, it is not customary to play a golf shot when the previous group is to carry the ball and this therefore requires waiting until the space where the ball is supposed to fall is free.So when a group of players uses more time than the reference duration it can cause a "traffic jam" and a general increase in playing time for the following groups. The rules of golf also provide for a penalty scale for players or groups of players whose playing time is abnormally long. Some golf courses have one or more marshals to monitor the playing times of groups of players sporadically. However, no means currently exists to systematically and regularly control the playing times of each group of players. The invention therefore makes it possible to regularly determine (for example every minute) a state of the playing times of all the groups of players present at this time on the course. This state then makes it possible to highlight the groups which are:In advanceOn timeLate compared to a predetermined theoretical schedule according to several parameters (number of players per group, game formula, starting marks, stops planned between the game of 2 holes ...). To do this, the invention consists of a GPS unit capable of reading and transmitting the coordinates of its position at a predefined frequency. A GPS unit is therefore given to each group of players before the start of the first hole. This box must then be kept by one of the players on him or in his golf bag throughout the course until the end of the last hole. The GPS unit will regularly transmit its position and the time of reading to an application via a telecom network. The raised position corresponds to the position of the group of players on the golf course. The path that all groups of players must follow along the golf course is materialized by "imaginary" points called "Beacon Point" whose GPS coordinates have been previously noted. Drawing n ° 1 shows on a 9-hole golf course, an example of the location of beacon points (PBn with n the serial number of the beacon point) corresponding to the direction of travel of the players. Thus for each reading carried out by a GPS unit, the application will search for the "beacon point" closest in distance from the point raised (position of the player group) in a range of defined beacon points. Each beacon point has a serial number n. [0008] It is therefore a comparative process. To find the new beacon point the application will calculate the distance between the point position P which has just been raised and the beacon points numbered from n to n + x with n the order number of the previous beacon point and x a parameter represented by an integer> 0. Drawing No. 2 shows an example of the approach to find the nearest beacon point. In this example:the serial number of the previous tag point is 5x is 4P corresponds to the position point of the GPS unit which has just been raised The application therefore calculates the distances:<tb> <SEP> From P to PB5 = 15 m<tb> <SEP> From P to PB6 = 12 m<tb> <SEP> From P to PB7 = 9 m<tb> <SEP> From P to PB8 = 11 m<tb> <SEP> From P to PB9 = 18 m The shortest distance is P to PB7, the new beacon point therefore takes the value 7 for order number. Once the beacon point has been identified, it suffices to calculate the theoretical passage time for the group of players at this beacon point. This schedule is obtained by summing the theoretical times to join 2 beacon points from the initial beacon point to the identified beacon point. These theoretical times are previously set.It remains to compare the real schedule (time of position report) and the theoretical schedule to conclude if the group is early, on time or late compared to the defined playing time. Continuing the example according to drawing n ° 2 The theoretical time t to arrive at PB7 is:TPB1àPB2 + tPB2àPB3 + tPB3àPB4 + tPB4àPB5 + tPB5àPB6 + tPB6àPB7 = 16 min The theoretical departure time at the first hole was at 12 noon, the PB7 had to be crossed at 12:16 pm The reading time is 12:18This group of players is therefore 2 min late To calculate the difference with the previous part, it suffices to add the theoretical times separating the beacon points. If the previous part is at tag point PB10tPB7 to PB8 + tPB8 to PB9 + tPB9 toPB10 = 2 + 3 + 4 = 9 minThe previous group started the first hole at 11:50 a.m. There is therefore an initial difference of 10 min between the 2 groups. The group which left at 12 noon from the first is therefore 1 min ahead of the group preceding it. Thus, the course commissioner (s) can see by means of a tablet or a computer screen which groups of players are late. This allows rapid intervention to warn or sanction these groups of players. The marshals can also note the recovery of lost time if necessary. It is also possible to imagine that this information on playing times could be communicated via screens and mobile phone applications to inform users in real time (present or not on the golf course) of the „traffic status “On the golf course.
